Calling all Crafters & Sahm's Services

Hello and Welcome!  If you are a local Boise area home based business*.  I'd love to add you to Sahm's directory!

Please read through the following information, it will tell you how to list your business!
(For those outside our area - please contact me.)

Important Information:
       ~ This is only a directory.  If you would like your listing linked to your business website you should have your own website and possibly paypal set up.  If that is not a reality, other contact information, such as a business card or something similar, can be listed. ~
       ~ If you are a designer and would like to create your own advertisement please set your size to 450px wide and between 100 - 175 px tall.  You can contact a Graphic & Digital Designer here for help creating an advertisement banner.  (All ads will be re-sized to a maximum height of 175 px). ~
       ~ BE CAREFUL, CAUTIOUS, AND WISE!  Sahm's will not be held responsible for problems related to selling, meeting people, personal information, etc...  It is simply a local directory.  Be wise, careful, and cautious with how much personal information you include and if you choose to set up any meetings please do so in safe public venues!  ~ 
       ~ If you have a home business category that is not listed on Sahm's Boutiques website, let me know and I'll will look into adding that category. ~
       ~ Content will be checked before your listing is added and periodically thereafter.  No obscene, profane, pornographic, illegal, or other distasteful content allowed!  This is a Family Friendly Website! ~

Requirements:


Crafters & Artists ~
         1 - All product must be Made by You! (some exceptions apply to families)
         2 - *You do not have to be a Sahm (Stay At Home Mom) to be listed ALL women and men's crafts that fit into the specifications are welcome.  But your business MUST be local (Treasure Valley, Boise area, Idaho) and home-based (brick and mortar stores will not be listed).*
         3 - The objective is for this to be a Reliable & High Quality directory, please sell only new high quality items (no used second hand items, or low quality products - doing so can result in removal from Sahm's).
         4 - If you are selling tangible (physical/touchable items) you MUST charge and report Sales Tax!  Please get your Seller's Permit from the Idaho State Tax Commission.  Check with your accountant for more information!
    
Services ~
         1 - All services must be Provided by You!
         2 - *You do not have to be a Sahm (Stay At Home Mom) to be listed ALL women and a few specific men's services are welcome!  But your business MUST be local (Treasure Valley, Boise area, Idaho) and home-based (brick and mortar stores will not be listed).  At this time we will not be listing handy-man, landscaping, auto care, computer tech, and related services.*
         3 - The objective is for this to be a Reliable & High Quality directory, please provide high quality and reliable  work!  Reports of fraud, dishonesty, etc... will be looked into and could result in removal of your ad.
         4 - Tax for services is reported as personal income on your personal taxes.  Please keep track of and report all income, check with your accountant for more information! 


Fees:  *** For now there will be no fees.  If it becomes a service that is really bringing a lot of web-based traffic and if the marketing end becomes costly, then we may introduce  a small listing fee.  I'm guessing that could be 1-2 years down the road, possibly longer, I will let you know a few months in advance when/if things will be changing.   Even better maybe I'll find a way to keep it a free directory!  (Hint, hint - I'd love your ideas!)  Till then lets just enjoy having a directory of home based businesses to support our local friends!  Enjoy! ***
